• Full-time Multifamily builder is hiring a Site Development Superintendent to lead ground-up sitework on new apartment projects across the Carolinas and Southern Virginia.

You will own the project from land clearing through finished slabs, then hand off to the vertical construction team. When a new start is not on deck, you'll step in to support exterior rehab work on existing properties. The role keeps you busy year-round, with the bulk of your time spent on greenfield development. Travel covers a four-hour radius of Raleigh, NC. Expect to be on the road and on site most weeks when prjoects are not near home (Monday morning to Friday afternoon). What you'll do Run sitework from clearing and grubbing through grading, utilities, erosion control, and concrete slabs Manage site subcontractors (clearing, grading, utility, concrete, paving) Hold the schedule from notice to proceed through slab-ready handoff Coordinate closely with the vertical construction team to ensure clean transitions Walk and inspect sites for quality, safety, and SWPPP compliance During gaps between new starts, lead exterior rehab work on existing multifamily properties (roofing, siding, paint, decks, building envelope repairs) Travel to active sites within a four-hour radius of Raleigh What we're looking for Solid track record running multifamily or commercial site development from clearing through slab Strong grasp of grading plans, utility coordination, and concrete work Experience managing sitework subs and holding them to schedule Comfortable reading civil drawings and working from approved plans Erosion control / SWPPP knowledge Willingness to travel and stay overnight when projects require it Valid driver's license and clean driving record Compensation Competitive base salary based on experience Daily additional to cover travel away from home radius Mileage/Truck Allowance Excellent Health benefits Why this role is a good seat Steady pipeline of new multifamily starts means consistent ground-up work, which is what most site supers actually want.
