Role Overview The Project Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day on-site management and successful execution of construction projects. This role oversees field operations, subcontractors, safety, quality control, and scheduling to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards. The Superintendent works closely with the Project Manager and is expected to operate in alignment with the company's core values and commitment to excellence. Key Responsibilities Site Management & Execution Oversee all on-site construction activities, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers Ensure daily site security, material protection, and overall jobsite organization Maintain full knowledge of project plans, specifications, and contract requirements Manage manpower, tools, and equipment needs for efficient execution Scheduling & Coordination Develop, maintain, and adjust project schedules to meet deadlines Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and inspections Collaborate with the Project Manager to establish short-term goals and overall project plans Proactively identify delays and implement corrective actions Quality Control & Compliance Ensure all work meets project specifications and quality standards Monitor subcontractor performance and enforce adherence to requirements Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports and as-built drawings Safety Oversight Enforce all jobsite safety protocols and OSHA regulations Conduct regular safety meetings, inspections, and ensure proper documentation Maintain a safe work environment, including PPE compliance, site cleanliness, and emergency procedures Communication & Reporting Provide timely updates to the Project Manager, including risks and proposed solutions Lead weekly jobsite coordination and progress meetings Maintain records such as progress photos, safety logs, inspection reports, and delivery tickets Work with inspectors, consultants, and local authorities to ensure compliance Procurement & Logistics Assist in identifying and expediting long-lead and critical materials Coordinate deliveries and ensure alignment with project timelines Support contract compliance with subcontractors and suppliers Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction 10+ years of overall construction experience Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and project execution Proven experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades on-site Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Required Experience OSHA compliance & safety management
