Job Description

The Field Supervisor oversees daily construction activities to ensure safety, quality, and productivity across assigned projects, including leading pre-construction safety meetings, verifying locate tickets, and confirming subcontractor work meets project requirements. The role tracks and confirms daily production, prepares as-built redlines, enforces site cleanliness, coordinates locates, and reports field escalations and utility strikes. The Field Supervisor also completes weekly Fleet and OSHA safety documentation and provides regular communication to project stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and track progress of all assigned construction jobs to ensure timely completion. Conduct quality control inspections on ongoing builds to maintain G-Fiber standards. Generate and send daily production reports to the Construction Coordinator and Construction Manager. Ensure all subcontractors comply with G-Fiber's construction and safety standards. Confirm that all utility locate tickets are cleared prior to excavation. Serve as primary point of contact for issues involving homeowners, inspectors, and subcontractors, resolving concerns promptly and professionally. Perform utility locating duties as needed to support job readiness and avoid conflicts. Oversee and execute punch list corrections to ensure project completion. Maintain strong attention to detail in all aspects of project oversight and documentation. Report utility strikes immediately and remain on site until the issue is fully resolved and documented.
Qualifications:
Experience with Adobe Pro or similar PDF editor software and G-Suite (required) Attention to detail and established organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen Valid Driver's License with good driving record (required)
