Bolton Construction & Service of WNC is seeking an experienced Commercial Plumbing Project Manager to succeed a respected team member retiring after 35 years with our company. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of an established book of commercial plumbing work with a fourth-generation, family-owned company that has served Western North Carolina since 1925. About Us Bolton Construction & Service of WNC provides plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and mechanical services to commercial and residential clients throughout Western North Carolina. For 100 years, our name has stood for quality workmanship, long-term client relationships, and taking care of our people. Many of our team members have been with us for decades, and we intend to keep it that way. What You'll Do Manage commercial plumbing projects from estimate through closeout, including new construction, renovation, and tenant upfit work Prepare estimates, takeoffs, and bid proposals for commercial plumbing projects Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to keep projects on schedule and on budget Review plans and specifications; identify scope gaps, conflicts, and value engineering opportunities Manage project budgets, change orders, billing, and job cost tracking Maintain strong relationships with general contractors, owners, engineers, and inspectors Ensure all work meets plumbing codes, project specifications, and Bolton quality standards Support and mentor field supervisors and plumbing crews Work alongside the retiring Project Manager during a structured transition period to ensure continuity for clients and crews What We're Looking For If you're a commercial plumber that is ready to take the next step in your career, this may be for you! 5+ years of commercial plumbing experience, with at least 2 years in project management, estimating, or field supervision Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, NC plumbing code, and construction documents Experience with estimating, takeoffs, and job costing Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and submittals Strong organizational and communication skills; comfortable being the point of contact for GCs and owners Proficiency with standard office software; experience with construction or estimating software a plus Valid driver's license What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Health insurance Paid time off and paid holidays Retirement plan Stable, long-term position with a 100-year-old company where people build careers, not just resumes Structured handoff and transition support from a 35-year veteran of the role Bolton Construction & Service of WNC, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
