Job Description

Overview You've got five years of commercial construction experience (new and renovation) and you understand how to deliver projects under design-bid-build, design-build and construction manager at risk delivery methods. But more than that, you're someone who listens, collaborates with owners and subs without ego, and solves problems on the fly. You care about doing things right. As a Commercial Construction Project Manager at Muter Construction, you will excel in the following:
Duties:
Manage projects from preconstruction throughout construction phase, including project closeout Perform constructability reviews as needed Perform project risk assessments Manage all aspects of on-site healthcare construction with an emphasis on renovations including occupied acute care facilities Manage project financials, process pay applications and associated documentation Emphasis on high quality deliverables including client experience Adherence to OSHA safety standards Daily collaboration with Field Staff Ability to travel from home office in Zebulon, NC to jobsites on a weekly basis
Qualifications:
Minimum of five years of related experience in commercial construction.
Certifications:
OSHA 30 (will train) Ability to collaborate and work with owners, architects, subcontractors and end-users Strong people management skills with an emphasis on communication and problem solving Project budgeting/forecasting skills Ability to create actionable schedules to ensure on-time project delivery Experience with Procore (preferred) and MS Office 365.
