Job Description

Overview You've got five years of healthcare construction experience and you know your way around MEP systems in a hospital environment. But more than that, you're someone who listens, collaborates with owners and subs without ego, and solves problems on the fly. You care about doing things right. As a Healthcare Construction Superintendent at Muter Construction, you will excel in the following: Duties Assist with projects from preconstruction and manage throughout construction phase Perform constructability reviews as needed Perform project risk assessments Assist with key submittals as needed Assist with writing RFI's Assist with scheduling of subcontractors and inspections Assist with schedule updates Adhere to project schedules to ensure on time completion Complete daily logs and other required field reports with emphasis on details and completeness Manage all aspects of on-site healthcare construction with an emphasis on renovations including occupied acute care facilities Hold all required on-site meetings for productivity and safety standard Emphasis on high quality deliverables including client experience Adherence to OSHA safety standards Ability to travel, work some nights and weekends Qualifications Minimum of five years of related experience in acute healthcare construction.
Certifications:
ICRA (preferred), CHC, OSHA 30 Strong understanding of MEP systems in a healthcare setting Ability to collaborate and work with owners, architects, subcontractors and end-users Strong people management skills with an emphasis on communication and problem solving Experience with Procore (preferred) and MS Office 365.
