This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys managing projects in the field, building strong relationships with subcontractors and clients, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and with quality workmanship.
Travel Requirements:
This is a travel-intensive position with project assignments located throughout the United States. Travel is expected to be approximately 100% based on project location. If a project is within driving distance of home, Superintendents typically return home on weekends. For projects requiring extended travel, home rotations are generally scheduled every three weeks or as coordinated with the Project Manager. What You'll Do Lead daily on-site construction operations from project start through completion Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel Maintain project schedules and monitor progress against milestones Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards Serve as the primary on-site representative for C2 Construction Conduct site meetings and communicate project updates to project stakeholders Review plans, specifications, and project documents Identify and resolve field issues proactively Coordinate inspections and ensure work meets contract requirements Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and site records Foster a positive, productive, and professional jobsite culture What We're Looking For Previous experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar field leadership role Experience managing private commercial construction projects preferred Strong understanding of commercial construction methods and practices Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship Ability and willingness to travel extensively based on project needs Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Compensation & Benefits Performance-based bonus opportunities tied to company and project success Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Company vehicle or vehicle allowance Company-provided housing while traveling Meal per diem Health insurance (employee-only coverage paid by company; two plan options available) Dental insurance Vision insurance Supplemental insurance options 401(k) with company match Company-paid basic life insurance ($25,000 benefit) Why C2 Construction?
