Job Description

Ready to hang up your tool belt and pass your knowledge on to the next generation? Quad County Property Management is looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent who's ready to step into a teaching and mentorship role, helping high school and college students learn the trade by building homes from the ground up. This is a hands-on position where you'll guide, coach, and develop young talent through real-world construction projects teaching everything from framing and drywall to siding and job site fundamentals. What You'll Do Hands-On Training & Mentorship:
Lead and train students in all aspects of residential construction, including framing, drywall, siding, and general carpentry. Teach proper techniques, tool use, and craftsmanship through real project work.
Project Guidance:
Oversee the construction of homes from the ground up, ensuring projects stay on track while creating a learning-focused environment. Balance productivity with teaching, allowing students to gain meaningful, hands-on experience.
Skill Development:
Coach students on job site expectations, work ethic, problem-solving, and teamwork. Help them build confidence and foundational skills for a future in the trades.
Supportive Environment:
Create a positive, encouraging atmosphere where students feel comfortable learning, asking questions, and improving their skills.
What You Need Experience:
Strong background in residential carpentry or construction (framing, drywall, siding, or similar) in a position such as Construction Foreman, Superintendent, Carpenter, or similar role preferred.
Mindset:
A passion for teaching, coaching, and developing others. Patience, communication skills, and the ability to break down complex tasks into simple steps.
Skills:
Solid understanding of construction processes, ability to demonstrate proper tool use, and lead by example on the job site.
Requirements:
