A Construction Project Manager supervises construction projects from beginning to end, ensuring that projects are completed within time and budgetary constraints. Controls the time, cost and quality of construction projects, from residential, commercial and industrial buildings to roads, bridges and schools. Plans and coordinate all aspects of the construction process, including hiring contractors and working with engineers, architects and vendors.

Prepare project estimates for management review Review Owner contracts; identify, manage, and report key risks Establish project budget, buyout strategy, and profit goals Lead subcontractor and supplier selection Manage permitting process Develop and maintain the master project schedule and key milestones Lead all project meetings (job startup, preconstruction, pull planning, construction, post-mortem, lessons learned) Ensure weekly 3- or 4-week look-ahead schedules are updated Coordinate continuously with the Superintendent throughout the project Lead safety planning with Superintendent; ensure compliance with company safety policies Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements (erosion control, dust control, noise ordinances, etc.) Lead submittal and shop drawing review and approval process Assist Superintendent with subcontractor scheduling and jobsite security planning Manage change management process, including back charges to subcontractors Ensure timely submission of cost and time claims to the Client Prepare and manage monthly pay applications Track cash flow, payments, and late payables; ensure prompt vendor payment Create and update monthly revenue and cost forecasts Serve as primary Client relations lead Provide regular reports to Clients and internal stakeholders Identify, escalate, and resolve project issues and disputes Proactively identify risks (subcontractor performance, cash flow, schedule, staffing) and manage early Mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members Hold weekly internal team meetings Align team actions with company initiatives and EOS L10 goals Monitor team performance and request management support as needed Maintain project records in accordance with company protocols Partner with internal departments to ensure project demands are met Assist marketing with project proposals as requested Assist in identifying qualified subcontractors Manage project closeout, warranties, and 11-month walkthroughs Ensure complete, accurate, and timely project documentation Support ongoing Client satisfaction and post-project follow-up
