Construction Project Manager Location:
Norfolk, NE (On-site)
Compensation:
$80,000 - $130,000 per year
Job Type:
Full-time Must-Have Requirements Location:
Must be local to Nebraska.
Experience:
5+ years of Construction Project Management experience (Commercial/Institutional preferred).
Technical Proficiency:
Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and owner/subcontract agreements.
Software Skills:
Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, P6, or iAuditor is highly preferred. Degree in Construction Management or related field is preferred but not required. About the Opportunity We are seeking a disciplined, high-ownership Construction Project Manager to lead projects from pre-construction through final closeout. This role is designed for a leader who excels at holding teams accountable, maintaining rigid safety standards, and navigating complex schedules without losing focus on quality. Key Responsibilities Pre-construction & Estimating:
Review designs, support estimating efforts, and coordinate permits and insurance to ensure a seamless project launch.
Schedule & Cost Control:
Build and manage project schedules (including long-lead items and pull plans). Monitor job costs and address financial variances early to ensure profitability.
Documentation Management:
Oversee the flow of RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications with high precision.
Field Leadership:
Lead regular meetings with owners and subcontractors. Maintain a strong site presence to support safety expectations and quality control.
Project Closeout:
Coordinate punch lists, final inspections, and turnover documentation to ensure a professional finish and client satisfaction. Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interfacing with architects, owners, and crews. Strong administrative skills regarding billing procedures and insurance compliance. Degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred but not required. Sharp prioritization skills and the ability to manage shifting demands in a fast-paced environment. Benefits Competitive salary ($80k-$130k) plus bonus opportunities. Company vehicle provided.
