Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager / Estimator to join our team in Pender, Nebraska. This position is responsible for leading estimating activities, developing project plans, managing project costs and resources, and ensuring projects are delivered successfully from bid through completion.

The ideal candidate will have extensive commercial construction experience, with a strong preference for candidates who have managed or estimated projects involving water, piping, concrete, or related infrastructure work.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate project revenue, cost, and profitability forecasts.

Lead project estimating efforts and maintain a consistent bid-to-build process.

Develop detailed estimates, budgets, schedules, and comprehensive project plans.

Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and other resources to meet project schedules.

Work closely with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.

Monitor project progress, costs, schedules, and overall performance.

Identify potential project risks and develop effective solutions.

Maintain accurate estimating, project, and vendor databases.

Review and negotiate vendor and subcontractor terms.

Assist with contract administration, change orders, and project documentation.

Provide leadership and resolve project-related conflicts efficiently.

Ensure estimating and project management activities follow established construction practices and company standards.

Preferred Experience:

Candidates with previous experience in commercial construction projects involving any of the following are strongly preferred:

Qualifications:

15+ years of construction industry experience.5+ years of professional estimating experience.

Experience in project management, estimating, or both.

Industry-related degree preferred; equivalent construction experience will be considered.

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, scheduling, and project execution.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam Revu, scheduling, and estimating software.

Strong financial and cost-control skills.

Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution abilities.

Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders effectively.
