Position Overview GPT Renewables is seeking an experienced New Hampshire Master Electrician to serve as an Electrical Superintendent / Crew Lead supporting commercial and utility-scale solar projects throughout New Hampshire, Upstate New York, and future projects in Massachusetts . The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can supervise small crews while actively supporting electrical installation, maintaining production schedules, and ensuring the highest standards of safety and workmanship.
Compensation:
$65.00-$80.00/hour (DOE)
Per Diem:
$50.00 per workday

8/17/2026 Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise a crew of 2-5 electricians. Coordinate daily electrical activities to meet production goals. Install, troubleshoot, and commission commercial and utility-scale solar electrical systems. Read and interpret electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, and construction plans. Install and terminate conduit, conductors, switchgear, transformers, inverters, combiner boxes, and associated electrical equipment. Support installation and commissioning of SMA Sunny Central 2660 UP-US central inverters. Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and project-specific safety standards. Conduct daily safety meetings and maintain a safe work environment. Perform quality inspections and ensure work meets client specifications. Coordinate materials, manpower, and daily work planning. Mentor crew members while maintaining productivity and quality expectations.
Qualifications:
Current New Hampshire Master Electrician License strongly preferred. New Hampshire Journeyman Electrician License may be considered Previous experience leading electrical crews on commercial or utility-scale solar projects required Strong knowledge of NEC and electrical construction practices. Experience with central inverter installations, switchgear, transformers, and medium-voltage equipment preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Willingness to travel weekly throughout New Hampshire and Upstate New York. Ability to work outdoors in active construction environments and varying weather conditions Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity , with the potential to become a full-time employee after approximately 1,000 hours (about five months) based on performance.
