Kids Kamp Supervisor 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars 220 Ski Area Road, Waterville Valley, NH 03215 Seasonal Waterville Valley Resort 33 reviews Seasonal Position Overview The Kids Kamp Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the Kids Kamp program, a full-day ski school experience for beginner to lower-intermediate children ages 4-12. This role is responsible for staff leadership, program execution, guest experience, and on-snow support to ensure a safe, fun, and high-quality learning environment. Core Responsibilities Program Operations Oversee all daily operations of the Kids Kamp program, including check-in, group organization, lesson flow, and dismissal Coordinate lesson assignments and group placements based on age, ability, and staffing Create weekly staff schedules and manage labor based on demand & budget Coordinate with the front desk and welcome center on cancellations, online lesson sales, and day of lesson sales Ensure smooth day-to-day execution across all program areas Staff Leadership & Development Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate Kids Kamp instructors Delegate daily work assignments appropriately & effectively Provide on-snow coaching based on guest feedback and observed performance Partner with the Technical Director to support training initiatives Assist with pre-season and in-season staff training Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment Guest Experience Positively interact with parents and children throughout the day Serve as a point of contact for guest questions, concerns, and issue resolution Ensure children are placed appropriately and having a positive experience Handle guest concerns professionally and in a timely manner Safety & Program Quality Enforce all Snowsports School and Waterville Valley policies and procedures Maintain a safe environment for children in all settings (on-snow and indoor) Monitor instructor performance, group control, and attentiveness Respond to and manage incidents as they arise Conduct weekly safety meetings with staff On-Snow Support Provide real-time support and coaching to instructors during the day Step into lessons when needed (coverage, high-demand, or guest issues) Maintain visibility across the program to ensure quality and consistency Administrative & Operational Support Manage and respond to email, phone messages, and shared communication channels Complete weekly payroll and scheduling accurately and timely Assist other Snowsports departments and resort operations as needed (including rentals) Help maintain cleanliness and organization of facilities; direct staff to do the same Perform additional duties as assigned by management Collaborate with co-supervisors to ensure all programs are staffed appropriately Consistently manage lesson inventory to ensure staffing levels are appropriate Decision Authority Assign and adjust instructor/group placements throughout the day Control staffing levels and weekly schedules Address and resolve guest concerns in real time Make operational decisions to maintain safe ratios and program quality Key Qualities for Success Strong organizational and leadership skills Ability to keep composure under pressure and manage dynamic situations effectively Clear and effective communication with staff and guests Positive, approachable, and team-oriented leadership style Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability Requirements
PSIA/AASI
Level I Certification and Children's Specialist 1 (CS1) preferred Minimum 2 seasons of instructing experience Prior experience working with children ages 4-12 Strong intermediate to advanced skiing ability Commitment to full winter season (November through early April) Availability for full-time schedule (40+ hours/week), including holidays

Ability to work in variable outdoor conditions (snow, cold, wind, rain) Ability to stand, kneel, bend, lift, and ski for extended periods Ability to lift 25-50 lbs
