We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented Working Construction Superintendent / Lead Carpenter to join our team. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, understands the residential construction process from start to finish, and has the ability to independently manage daily jobsite operations. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily construction activities on high-end custom homes and major renovations. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and in-house carpenters. Perform hands-on carpentry work as needed, including framing, trim, finish carpentry, and miscellaneous construction tasks. Maintain construction schedules and ensure projects progress efficiently. Review architectural drawings, specifications, and construction details. Monitor workmanship and ensure high-quality construction standards. Coordinate material deliveries, inspections, and subcontractor scheduling. Identify potential construction conflicts and proactively develop solutions. Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites. Communicate regularly with the company owner regarding project progress, scheduling, and field conditions. Qualifications Minimum 7-10 years of residential construction experience preferred. Strong background in rough framing, finish carpentry, and residential construction. Previous experience as a lead carpenter, foreman, or superintendent. Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings. Strong knowledge of residential construction sequencing and building practices. Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned projects. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Experience with high-end coastal custom homes is strongly preferred. Compensation & Opportunity Competitive annual salary of $85,000-$105,000 , commensurate with experience. Full-time, year-round employment.
