Job DescriptionThe Manager, Site Installation for Logistic Systems oversees the on-site installation, commissioning, and handover of automated logistics solutions, including conveyors, sortation systems, AS/RS, and warehouse automation. This role is accountable for delivering projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and in full compliance with technical and quality standards. Leading a team of Site Installation Supervisors, the Manager directs all on-site activities, including coordination of third-party contractors. The role ensures seamless site operations through strong oversight of safety, quality, schedule, and cost performance.

Balancing strategic leadership with hands-on involvement, the Manager remains closely engaged in site execution, resolving issues, supporting the team, and driving progress through commissioning to successful project handover. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all on-site installation activities for logistics systems projects
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineering teams, subcontractors, and clients
  • Plan and monitor installation schedules, resources, and progress
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations
  • Supervise subcontractors and installation crews, ensuring quality workmanship
  • Conduct site inspections and resolve technical or operational issues
  • Manage site logistics including material delivery, storage, and handling
  • Track project milestones, budgets, and report progress to stakeholders
  • Oversee system testing, commissioning, and final acceptance
  • Ensure proper documentation, including installation reports and handover documents
  • Support continuous improvement and lessons learned processes QualificationsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred5-10+ years of experience in industrial installation, preferably in logistics or automation systemsProven experience managing on-site teams and subcontractorsStrong understanding of mechanical and electrical installation processesFamiliarity with warehouse automation technologies (e.
g., conveyors, robotics, AS/RS). Knowledge of commissioning and system integration processesKnowledge of safety standards and regulationsExperience with large-scale automation projectsMust be able to obtain customer site security accessKey Skills & CompetenciesStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent project coordination and organizational abilitiesProblem-solving and decision-making under pressureEffective communication and stakeholder managementAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and plansProficiency in project management tools and MS OfficeWorking ConditionsFrequent travel to project sites (domestic and/or international)Work in industrial environments (warehouses, distribution centers, construction sites)Ability to perform in a physically demanding site environment, including walking and standing for extended periods, frequent bending, kneeling, and climbing (e.g., ladders and platforms), as well as lifting and carrying materials or equipment, while working safely in varying industrial and construction conditions.

OSHA 30 CertificationCPR CertificationCompensation range: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 annually The posted salary range reflects the compensation the company reasonably expects to offer for this position. Actual compensation will not be less than the posted minimum and will be based on multiple factors.
