Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial HVAC Foreman to lead and oversee large-scale heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) projects within commercial construction environments. This role is vital in ensuring that HVAC systems are installed, maintained, and managed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with all relevant regulations. As a Foreman, you will coordinate teams of skilled technicians, manage project timelines, and uphold the highest standards of quality and safety on-site. Your leadership will drive project success from start to finish, ensuring client satisfaction and operational excellence. Responsibilities Supervise and manage HVAC installation crews, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to project specifications. Coordinate construction schedules with project managers using construction management software such as Primavera P6 or Procore to meet deadlines. Review construction drawings, schematics, blueprints, and technical specifications to guide installation processes accurately. Ensure compliance with federal construction safety regulations (OSHA) and local construction safety standards throughout all phases of work. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality control, safety adherence, and progress; address any issues promptly. Manage procurement of materials and equipment using tools like HeavyBid or Prolog; oversee inventory levels to prevent delays. Interpret technical drawings and schematics; utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and troubleshooting. Lead team meetings to communicate project goals, safety protocols, and schedule updates; foster a collaborative team environment. Review contracts, change orders, and project documentation to ensure scope adherence; manage subcontractor relationships when applicable. Enforce construction regulations related to HVAC systems; supervise the proper use of construction management software for scheduling and reporting. Experience Proven experience managing commercial HVAC installation projects within the construction industry. Extensive knowledge of construction management practices including blueprint reading, project scheduling, and quality control procedures. Strong supervisory background with demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively on busy construction sites. Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6 or Primavera; experience with Contracts management tools like Prolog is a plus. Hands-on experience with construction site safety protocols aligned with OSHA standards and federal regulations. Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and electrical testing using tools like ohmmeters. Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high safety standards and meeting project deadlines.
