Farmington, NM (Travel throughout the Four Corners region as needed)

Position Summary Chenault Consulting, Inc. is seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Construction Superintendent to oversee dirt work and site construction projects throughout the oil and gas industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing crews, subcontractors, scheduling, quality control, safety, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Responsibilities
  • Oversee construction of: o Well pads o Compressor station pads o Tank battery locations o Access roads o Lease roads o Pipeline right-of-way grading o Reclamation projects o Drainage improvements o Culvert installation
  • Coordinate subcontractors and equipment.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings and grading plans.
  • Manage daily field operations.
  • Conduct safety meetings and enforce company safety policies.
  • Ensure work complies with customer specifications.
  • Schedule equipment and materials.
  • Communicate daily with clients and project managers.
  • Monitor project budgets and production.
  • Prepare daily reports and documentation.
  • Ensure projects are completed efficiently while maintaining quality.
  • Qualifications
  • 5+ years of heavy civil construction experience.
  • Oil & Gas construction experience preferred.
  • Experience managing multiple crews.
  • Knowledge of GPS machine control preferred.
  • Ability to read grading plans.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
