This position oversees daily operations on the jobsite, ensures work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Superintendent serves as the primary company representative on site, coordinating trades, enforcing safety protocols, and maintaining strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. Key Responsibilities Direct and supervise all field personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project objectives are met. Oversee daily construction activities and maintain an organized, clean, and safe jobsite. Implement and enforce the project schedule, adjusting resources and sequencing as needed to meet deadlines. Monitor and control construction quality, ensuring all work complies with plans, specifications, building codes, and contract documents. Conduct regular site inspections, walkthroughs, and quality control checks. Manage project safety program, including daily safety meetings, hazard identification, and compliance with OSHA and company safety policies. Maintain a zero-incident mindset. Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, material deliveries, and equipment. Review and verify subcontractor work for completeness and compliance before approving payments. Maintain detailed daily reports, photos, RFIs, change orders, and other project documentation. Proactively identify and resolve field issues, conflicts, or delays. Collaborate closely with the Project Manager on budget tracking, change management, and schedule updates. Interface professionally with clients, architects, inspectors, and local authorities. Mentor and develop assistant superintendents, foremen, and field staff. Ensure proper care and maintenance of company tools, equipment, and temporary facilities. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum 7-10 years of progressive experience in construction, with at least 4+ years as a Superintendent. Strong experience managing ground-up commercial, multifamily, institutional, or industrial projects (preferred). Deep knowledge of construction methods, materials, scheduling, and trade coordination. Concerete Expereince Preferred Proven ability to successfully deliver projects on time and under budget. OSHA 30-hour certification (required); additional safety or industry certifications a plus. Proficiency with construction management software (Builder Trend) Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Willingness to travel to project sites as needed and work flexible hours. Preferred Skills & Attributes Experience in the local Las Vegas / Southwest market. CPSI or other relevant professional certifications. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a strong plus. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage conflict. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
