Job Description As a Building and Construction Assistant Superintendent, you will: Assist in overseeing daily construction site operations Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and deliveries Support project scheduling and work sequencing Conduct daily jobsite walks and inspections Help enforce safety policies and OSHA requirements Monitor quality control and installation standards Review construction drawings and specifications Track manpower, productivity, and project progress Maintain daily reports and field documentation Participate in subcontractor and owner meetings Assist with punch-list completion and project closeout Work closely with Superintendents to resolve field issues MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant The ideal Building and Construction Assistant Superintendent candidate will have: 2+ years of commercial construction experience Experience as an Assistant Superintendent, Foreman, Lead Carpenter, Project Engineer, or similar role Strong understanding of construction means and methods Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents Knowledge of OSHA safety practices Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to coordinate multiple trades effectively Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Desire to advance into a Superintendent position Preferred Qualifications Commercial, healthcare, education, or multi-family project experience Ground-up construction experience OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification Construction Management degree or related education Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction software What's on Offer Competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000 annually.
