Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Purchaser to join our team and drive the procurement process for complex infrastructure projects. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing the purchase of construction materials, equipment, and services essential to project success. Your expertise will ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency, and compliance with construction regulations. Responsibilities Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project schedules and budgets Source and evaluate suppliers, contractors, and vendors to secure quality materials and services Negotiate contracts, pricing, delivery terms, and payment conditions to maximize value Coordinate with project managers and construction teams to understand material requirements and timelines Manage procurement documentation using construction management software such as ProCore, Prolog, Primavera P6, and HeavyBid Track purchase orders, delivery schedules, and inventory levels to ensure seamless project progress Ensure compliance with construction regulations, safety standards, and contractual obligations throughout the procurement process Qualifications Proven experience in construction purchasing or procurement within commercial or infrastructure projects Strong knowledge of construction estimating, project scheduling, and cost management principles Proficiency with project management software including Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, Civil 3D, Microsoft Office Suite, and other construction management tools Familiarity with reading construction plans, blueprints, contracts, and managing complex infrastructure projects Hands-on experience with construction site operations and understanding of construction regulations and safety standards Excellent negotiation skills coupled with effective time management and team coordination abilities Construction site experience is highly preferred; candidates should demonstrate a solid understanding of construction scheduling and project leadership Join us in shaping impactful infrastructure projects by bringing your procurement expertise to a collaborative team dedicated to excellence.
