Job Summary:
The Assistant Residence Manager assumes the responsibilities of the Residence Manager in his/her absence; ensures safety of the individuals and staff by providing consistent supervision.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The Assistant Residence Manager in the Developmental Disabilities program assumes the responsibilities of the Residence Manager in his/her absence; assists the Residence Manager with coordination, organization and management of the residence; serves as a role model and advocate; ensures safety of the individuals by providing consistent supervision and observation; promotes a homelike atmosphere; assists in maintaining cleanliness of the residence; implements Individual Habilitation Plans; and provides training of adult living skills in a dignified and respectful manner. The Assistant Residence Manager Assist the Resident Manager with coordination, organization and management of the residence, maintaining home and individuals' finances, and with orientation and training of new staff.
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma and one (1) year supervisory experience and one (1) year experience working with the developmentally disabled population; OR three (3) years experience working with the developmentally disabled population required. Supervisor experience preferred A valid, non-restricted and acceptable driver's license is required.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak clearly and effectively. The employee is frequently required to stand; use mobility, handle or feel; and reach. The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Pay:
$21.21 per hour
