Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Contractor/Owner with a general contracting license in Nassau and Suffolk county , NY.role will be to lead and oversee complex construction projects from inception to completion. This pivotal role involves managing all aspects of construction operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with quality standards. As the primary owner of construction initiatives, you will coordinate with stakeholders, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. Your leadership will drive project success while fostering a safety-first environment and maintaining excellent client relationships. Duties Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards Develop detailed project plans utilizing project management software such as Primavera P6, Procore, or similar tools Manage and direct construction teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to meet project milestones and deliverables Oversee construction schedule coordination, including critical path analysis and resource allocation to optimize workflow Review and interpret construction plans, blueprints, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance with design intent and regulatory standards Monitor project costs through effective cost management practices; prepare estimates and track expenses using HeavyBid or equivalent estimating tools Ensure construction regulatory compliance by adhering to local codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards Conduct regular site inspections to verify work quality, safety protocols, and progress; address issues promptly to minimize delays Manage project documentation including change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and progress reports Facilitate clear communication among all project stakeholders to promote transparency and resolve conflicts efficiently Requirements Proven experience managing complex infrastructure or commercial construction projects from start to finish Strong knowledge of construction regulations, safety standards, and building codes applicable to various project types Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Prolog or equivalent platforms Expertise in construction estimating, budget management, and cost control strategies Skilled in blueprint reading, contract negotiations, project scheduling, and project coordination techniques Hands-on experience with construction site operations including safety protocols and regulatory compliance Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with civil 3D for infrastructure design coordination is a plus Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently using time management best practices Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams Join us if you're ready to lead impactful projects that shape communities!
