  • Full-time We are a large company on Long Island specializing in builds and renovations.
We build across Nassau and Suffolk. We are seeking an energetic, detail‑oriented Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee projects from inception to completion. In this pivotal role you will coordinate all aspects of construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. Attention to detail is critical. Duties Lead the planning, execution, and closeout of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and specifications. Draft and execute contracts. File permits and ensure all required documentation is complete. Order 811s (utility locates) as required for excavation and coordinate with utilities before ground work begins. Develop detailed project schedules using Jobber. Coordinate with sales, construction crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure seamless communication and collaboration. Conduct site visits with customers at key milestones to review project details and provide peace of mind. Monitor progress via site visits and CompanyCam to perform quality inspections, ensure compliance with safety protocols, codes, and regulations, identify potential delays, and facilitate timely resolutions. Determine required materials from project plans, place orders accurately, and ensure timely delivery to keep projects on schedule and on budget. Maintain meticulous records of contracts, change orders, schedules, budgets, and safety documentation. Ensure billing is collected in a timely manner. Build and maintain strong client relationships through transparent communication and proactive problem solving. Help grow referrals and promote the company's reputation through exceptional service and delivery. Qualifications 3-5 years' experience in a relevant construction/project coordination role; industry experience is required. Proficiency with construction management tools such as Jobber and CompanyCam (or similar). Solid understanding of construction estimating processes and contract administration. Hands‑on experience with project scheduling techniques and ability to develop detailed timelines. Strong knowledge of material estimation, ordering, and inventory coordination. Familiarity with construction site safety standards and regulatory compliance. Excellent organizational and time‑management skills; able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration across sales, engineering, subcontractors, crews, and clients. Ability to manage team members effectively, identify performance gaps, and provide corrective guidance and follow‑up. High attention to detail. Strong computer and administrative skills. Comfortable on the phone and in in‑person meetings. Able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
