Job Description

About Us:
Perfectionist Painting and Home Improvement is a premier provider of high-quality home renovation services, known for our meticulous attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a hands-on leader who enjoys working in the field and managing teams, with the potential to grow into a leadership role.
Job Overview:
The Production Supervisor will play a critical role in ensuring seamless operations across all job sites and maintaining the high standards our clients have come to expect. This is a hands-on role that involves being in the field regularly, working alongside the team to ensure projects meet our high standards. You will start by shadowing the owner, with the long-term vision of stepping into a leadership role that could eventually include a structured path to ownership.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership Training:
Shadow the owner to gain insight into our operations, workflows, and client relations.
Quality Control:
Conduct regular visits to job sites to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards and on schedule.
Compliance Management:
Handle all compliance-related matters, including coordination with property managers, processing insurance, managing licensing, and overseeing contracts.
Resource Management:
Efficiently manage material acquisition and inventory, including trips to suppliers and coordinating shop and vehicle organization. This includes physical tasks such as organizing supplies, maintaining a clean and orderly shop environment, and managing tools and materials.
Team Coordination:
Act as a central communication point between the owner, team members, and clients, ensuring that all parties remain aligned and informed. Flexibility in

While communications may occur from 7 am to 8 pm, this varies depending on project needs and is not constant.
Site Presence & Travel:
While laborers typically work from 8 am to 5 pm, the Manager/Project Coordinator is not required to be on-site for the full duration. Some days will involve off-site planning and coordination, while others may include weekend availability. Additionally, some weeks may require up to 15 hours of driving between job sites and suppliers.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Bilingual Ability:
Spanish-speaking skills are not required, however highly valuable and aid in communication with a diverse workforce.
Industry Knowledge:
Experience in painting, renovations, and general home improvement is preferred.
Technical Skills:
Ability to contribute on-site with skills in painting, plaster, carpentry, tile work, and basic plumbing and electrical work is beneficial but not mandatory.
Leadership & Communication:
Strong interpersonal skills, an ability to listen attentively, and a natural inclination towards leadership and teamwork.
Adaptability:
Willingness to adapt to evolving project needs and take on challenges as they arise.
Clean Driving Record:
A clean driver's license is required, along with comfort in navigating work vehicles through NYC.
Compensation:
Salary:
Competitive annual salary between $75,000 and $90,000, depending on experience in managing job sites, technical skills, and leadership ability.
Paid Time Off:
Includes 2 weeks of paid time off.
