Job Description

Who We Are Lake Shore Paving is a site work/ civil construction contractor in Jamestown, NY. We build projects that range in size from $100k to $20 million. Lake Shore Paving is focused on delivering projects safely, timely and with a standard that exceeds expectations. What You'll Lead As a Project Superintendent, you'll direct onsite execution for assigned site work/civil construction projects—keeping production moving, plans clear, and the job on track through closeout. You'll own the field plan, align crews and partners, and maintain tight coordination so work is completed safely, on time, and to spec.
Key responsibilities include:
Build and manage the day-to-day and look-ahead schedule through project completion Order materials and coordinate deliveries to match the work plan Schedule and manage subcontractors and field activities Coordinate with the owner's representative to keep communication and progress smooth Required qualifications/skills: Proven knowledge of site work and civil construction Strong attention to detail Working knowledge of scheduling for site/civil construction If you're ready to run work in the field with accountability and consistency, apply today. Your Typical Day You'll start early reviewing progress from yesterday and setting priorities for the day, then walk the site to confirm conditions match the plan. Throughout the morning you'll check in with foremen, vendors, and subs as they arrive, adjusting timing as needed to keep momentum. Midday often includes quick updates with the owner's representative and verifying upcoming needs so tomorrow's work is ready. By late afternoon, you'll confirm deliveries, review what's complete, and line up the next steps so the crew can hit the ground running.
