Assistant Site Manager•
I/DD Full-Time:
Mon-Fri, 7:30am-3:30pm

50/hr Jericho, NY AHRC Nassau provides OPWDD-approved Day Habilitation Services for adults with IDD in over 30 locations across Nassau County, Long Island. We offer both traditional, site-based day habilitation services in a community-based setting, as well as Program Without Walls (PWW) options. All Day Habilitation services are designed to support each person in discovering their personal interests, while improving their communication and socialization skills. The services are designed to include a special focus on opportunities for building successful and meaningful interactions with other members of our community. In this role, you will: Ensure the safety of program volunteers while at the program site and during community-based activities. Train program volunteers to perform functional/meaningful and/or volunteer job tasks. Assume responsibility of overseeing the overall functioning of the site in the absence of the Site Manager, including supervising DSP's. Work with the Site Manager to: Schedule all program activities and volunteer opportunities, maintain accurate written records as needed, and maintain communication with parents/correspondents, advocates, and/MSC of volunteers regarding progress, problems, and all pertinent information that needs to be disseminated. Act as a liaison between voluntary job site staff and program volunteers.
