Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Site Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish.
Qualifications:
10+ years of construction supervision experience, as well as an OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification. Must also have a valid Driver's License 1. Site Supervision and Daily Operations Direct and supervise all field construction activities. Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and suppliers to ensure efficient workflow. Ensure work is performed in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and contract requirements. 2. Schedule Management Implement and maintain the construction schedule. Coordinate sequencing of trades to avoid delays or conflicts. Monitor progress and ensure work remains on schedule. 3. Safety Compliance Enforce project safety requirements in accordance with the USACE Safety and Health Requirements Manual (EM 385-1-1) . Conduct daily safety briefings and ensure all workers follow safety protocols. Identify and correct unsafe conditions immediately. 4. Coordination with Government Personnel Serve as the primary on-site contact with the Government's field representatives, including the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). Participate in coordination meetings, site inspections, and progress meetings. 5. Quality Oversight Work closely with the Quality Control Manager to ensure compliance with the project's Quality Control Plan. Verify that materials, workmanship, and installations meet contract specifications. 6. Documentation and Reporting Maintain daily construction reports and site logs. Track manpower, equipment, and project progress. Document inspections, deficiencies, and corrective actions. 7. Subcontractor Management Coordinate and supervise subcontractor activities. Ensure subcontractors comply with contract requirements, safety standards, and project schedules. 8. Project Closeout Assist with punch list completion and final inspections. Ensure project documentation and as-built information are completed. 9. Leadership and Coordination Strong leadership and supervisory skills Ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and trades Effective communication with Government representatives (KO, COR, inspectors) 10 . Technical Construction Knowledge Understanding of multiple construction disciplines such as: Civil and site work Structural systems Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Utilities and infrastructure Renovation and new construction
