This is accomplished by keeping lines of communication and information open between the office and the field to ensure production is accurate and timely. Works closely with the Field Superintendent to determine the strategic direction of an installed Multi-Family project. Effective communication with the field and internal departments are mandatory for the success of this position. Requirements 2+ years' experience in Commercial Multi-Family construction project management Solid understanding of Job Site Management processes and construction assembly Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices Solid comprehension of all working aspects of contracts including changes to build out processes and schedules Ability to analyze and provide recommendations to solve problems Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports Effective oral and written communication skills Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to read and comprehend blueprints Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Knowledge of PlanSwift Software is a plus This position will be servicing the NE Ohio areas
Responsibilities :
Thoroughly review all plans, specifications, and project schedule. Create a mutually agreed upon schedule of values between Carter Lumber and customer. Review take-off to ensure correct quantities and product are ordered and delivered at the appropriate time. Send and track submittals for all product until approved for order. Obtain labor source and execute Carter Lumber approved labor sub-contract. Procure material and advise Field Superintendent of arrival dates. Provide customer change orders when necessary. Review Field Superintendent daily reports and weekly safety meetings Track job Progression and monitor project budgets Submit pay applications per contract documents with customer. Submit and approve pay requests on behalf of sub-contract labor. Attend jobsite meetings with customer and other trades as needed Set up initial meeting with customer prior to performing scope.
