Job Description

We are a local General Contractor that focuses on commercial construction projects in the greater Dayton area. We typically work on smaller to midsize projects in a wide range of industries. We handle everything from public works new construction, to retail renovations, school additions, and more. Currently the public works area has kept us busy, but we are making the push into the private sector to grow that space.

As we grow we are looking to bring on 1-2 more superintendents to run projects for us. We have a full schedule of work for the year with more pushing into 2027. As for our superintendents we want someone who is ready to own the jobsite and run things from top to bottom and that is not afraid to get their hands dirty.

What you need5+ years of construction experience2+ years as superintendentExperience with a wide range of commercial projects (ground up and renovations)Fire Stations, public works, retail, restaurants, education, steel buildings, etc.

Comfortable negotiating with subcontractors, vendors, and speaking with clientsOSHA 30 and CPR certified (preferred)What you will be doingOversee Full Construction project from beginning to endDrive projects to completion on schedule and within budget targetsEnforce and oversee adherence to the company's safety policies and proceduresPlan, coordinate, and manage all required jobsite inspectionsSupervise and manage all phases of onsite construction operationsSchedule, coordinate, and oversee subcontractor work activitiesTrack and evaluate subcontractor progress, workmanship, and performance standardsManage project costs to maintain alignment with budgeted labor and material expensesIdentify, evaluate, and recommend subcontractors, vendors, and service providers for engagementMaintain a safe, productive, and well-organized jobsite environmentAssist in developing, maintaining, and revising project schedulesLead regular onsite coordination meetings with subcontractorsCoordinate timely delivery of critical materials and equipment
