  • 170K base + annual bonus + ESOP + vehicle allowance A highly respected, employee-owned Top ENR General Contractor is seeking a Superintendent to help lead some of the largest and most complex commercial construction projects in the Columbus market.
The team is specifically seeking someone with experience leading large-scale commercial construction projects in the $100M+ range who enjoys being highly involved in field operations, team coordination, and driving projects forward from the front lines. What You'll Be Responsible For Lead field operations from mobilization through project turnover and closeout Manage and coordinate subcontractors, self-perform teams, inspections, and daily jobsite activity Develop and maintain short-term schedules and drive overall project sequencing in partnership with Project Management teams Ensure projects maintain safety, quality, and schedule expectations throughout construction Lead pull-planning meetings, subcontractor coordination meetings, and daily field communication Review drawings, specifications, and construction documents to proactively identify and solve issues Coordinate logistics, manpower planning, material deliveries, and site utilization Mentor Assistant Superintendents, field engineers, and junior operations staff Partner closely with owners, architects, engineers, and inspectors throughout project execution Help maintain a highly collaborative and team-oriented project environment Project Types Large-scale healthcare and hospital campuses Higher education and student housing developments Mission-critical and advanced technology facilities Industrial and manufacturing projects Large commercial mixed-use developments Complex occupied renovations and phased construction Ideal Background 7+ years of Superintendent experience with a General Contractor Experience leading large-scale commercial construction projects in the $100M+ range strongly preferred Background with healthcare, higher education, industrial, mission-critical, or large mixed-use projects highly valued Strong scheduling, sequencing, and subcontractor coordination experience Ability to lead large field teams in fast-paced, complex project environments Experience with Lean construction, pull-planning, or advanced scheduling methods is a plus Someone who values accountability, communication, teamwork, and long-term culture fit Compensation & Benefits $120K
