A Construction Project Manager supervises construction projects from beginning to end, ensuring that projects are completed within time and budgetary constraints. Controls the time, cost and quality of construction projects, from residential, commercial and industrial buildings to roads, bridges and schools. Plans and coordinate all aspects of the construction process, including hiring contractors and working with engineers, architects and vendors.
Based on experience We are seeking an experienced and motivated Construction Project Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will oversee construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities Manage all phases of commercial construction projects from planning through closeout. Oversee multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining project schedules, budgets, quality, and safety standards. Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules, budgets, cost forecasts, and timelines. Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, consultants, architects, engineers, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution. Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, and engineers Review project drawings, specifications, contracts, and permit requirements to ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations. Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, quality, and adherence to company and OSHA safety standards. Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with clients, subcontractors, and project teams. Review and approve subcontractor pay applications, vendor invoices, and change orders. Identify opportunities for value engineering and cost savings while maintaining project quality. Resolve project challenges, scheduling conflicts, and construction issues in a proactive and professional manner. Ensure all work is completed according to project plans, specifications, company standards, and client expectations. Prepare project reports, budget updates, change orders, and progress documentation for ownership and clients. Mentor and collaborate with Superintendents, Assistant Project Managers, and field personnel to promote accountability and continuous improvement. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of commercial construction project management experience. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred. Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, materials, scheduling, estimating, budgeting, and project controls. Thorough understanding of building codes, permitting processes, and OSHA safety regulations. Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, negotiation, and time management skills. Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction/project management software (experience with Procore, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, or similar platforms is a plus).
