Job Description
Job Description This person would assist the Commercial Construction Department Project Managers and Vice President with all phases of commercial projects. Responsibilities Receive, review for compliance, and process Submittals Receive, review, and write Request for Information (RFI) Manage and distribute Project Drawings (Bulletin Updates, etc.) Attend construction meetings, i.e., Owner, Architect, Contractor (OAC), Subcontractor coordination, etc. Record, write, and distribute meeting minutes Perform or assist Site Superintendent with Safety Orientations, Training, and Tracking Assist Project Manager and/or Site Superintendent, support with daily construction activities, including drawing coordination, sub coordination, site walks, and quality control. Understand means & methods of construction activities. Compile, track and assist the Site Superintendent and Project Manager in the Punch List process Compile Turnover Documentation Assist in development of Subcontractor Scope of Works Participate in subcontractor / supplier buyout Assist in project cost management per the direction of the Project Manager Assist with Owner/Subcontractor Change Orders per direction of Project Manager Participate in Monthly Project Pulse (MPP) Participate in subcontractor / supplier invoice approval Essential Skills Must establish and maintain effective working relationships with other subcontractors, clients, and employees. Must be proficient in basic computer skills such as Word and Excel. Must be able to travel up to 10 days, per month. Must have OSHA 10. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mansfield, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $52.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
