Job Description

Own the job. Own the numbers. Deliver the project. We're looking for an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager who knows how to run a job from preconstruction through closeout. You'll have direct responsibility for budgets, schedules, contracts, subcontractors, change orders, client relationships, design coordination, and overall project performance. You'll work closely with the Superintendent and field team while keeping owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors aligned. What You'll Do
  • Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Build and maintain project budgets, schedules, milestones, and procurement plans
  • Track costs, commitments, changes, forecasts, and profitability
  • Review drawings, specifications, scopes, contracts, and change requests
  • Develop subcontractor scopes and participate in bidding and negotiations
  • Coordinate architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, change orders, and project documentation
  • Monitor permitting and other requirements affecting the project
  • Lead project meetings and maintain communication with owners and stakeholders
  • Partner with the Superintendent on schedule, quality, safety, and field coordination
  • Maintain strong client relationships throughout the project
  • Identify problems early and drive practical solutions
  • Report project status and financial performance to leadership
  • Drive punch list, turnover, and final closeout
  • Travel as required for assigned projects What You Bring
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience in commercial construction
  • Experience managing projects from preconstruction through completion
  • Direct responsibility for project budgets, costs, changes, and financial results
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, subcontractors, scheduling, and project controls
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of work
  • Experience coordinating multiple trades and project stakeholders
  • Strong client-facing communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to make decisions, solve problems, and keep projects moving
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency, including Excel and Word
  • Experience with Procore or another major construction management platform
  • Familiarity with construction scheduling and project-costing systems
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent commercial construction experience will be considered Commercial Construction Experience Commercial general contracting, design-build, specialty construction, healthcare, manufacturing, industrial, office, retail, institutional, or other technically involved commercial construction experience can all be a fit.
The common denominator is project ownership. You understand how the work gets built, how the money is managed, how changes affect the job, and how to keep the owner, design team, subcontractors, and field team moving toward the same finish line. Compensation & Benefits
  • $100,000-$160,000 DOE
  • Full-time position
