PROJECT SUPERINTENDENT
General Summary:
A Project Superintendent is responsible for overseeing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards . Job Description - Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Directing and controlling the work activities of construction workers Analyzing and making decisions on budget, schedule, and quality of work Providing leadership and guidance to subordinates Maintaining effective communication with clients, managers, and other stakeholders Inspecting all sites Coordinating with contractors and engineers Managing the budget and expenditure Purchasing necessary materials and equipment Making schedules Managing project schedules Monitoring the progress of the Construction Workers in the team Ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available Following quality standards Ensuring the safety and security of the construction site Communicating and negotiating with external partners, such as vendors and lawyers Acting as a liaison and working closely with the project manager, architects, engineers, and inspectors Communicating progress updates to stakeholders.
Job Requirements:
  • Effective communication skills, natural leadership abilities, and familiarity with construction management software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be detailed oriented, punctual, and work well within a team.
  • Initiate tasks and execute accurately.
  • Ability to administer several tasks independently and concurrently.
  • Team player with self-confidence and professional presence.
  • Possess a positive attitude and work ethic.
  • Ability to assess and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and demands.
  • Passionate, self-motivated, and dedicated to high-quality work.
Experience & Education/Certification :
  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
PROJECT SUPERINTENDENT
  • A Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a proven track record of managing large-scale projects.
Compensation and Benefits :
Competitive salary commensurate with experience and full benefits package including medical, vision and dental insurance, supplemental insurance, paid time off and holidays, and 401k. Annual performance based bonuses.

$75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
