About Our Client Our client is a highly respected General Contractor with a strong presence in the Pennsylvania market, specializing in commercial ground-up construction projects ranging from $10M-$100M+. Their portfolio includes healthcare facilities, industrial buildings, mixed-use developments, retail centers, educational institutions, and corporate office projects. Job Description Key Responsibilities Lead daily field operations for ground-up commercial construction projects. Manage all phases of construction, including sitework, foundations, concrete, structural steel, building envelope, MEP systems, and interior finishes. Develop and maintain short-term and long-term project schedules. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and project stakeholders. Conduct daily site walks and ensure work is progressing according to schedule. Enforce OSHA and company safety standards across the jobsite. Monitor quality control and ensure all work complies with project specifications. Collaborate closely with Project Managers to achieve budget and schedule goals. Identify and resolve field challenges while minimizing impacts to project delivery. Lead subcontractor meetings and communicate project expectations. Maintain daily reports, progress updates, and construction documentation. Oversee punch list completion, commissioning activities, and project closeout. The Successful Applicant A successful Building and Construction Superintendent should have: 2+ years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction. Proven success leading ground-up commercial construction projects valued at $5M+. Strong knowledge of site development, concrete, structural steel, and commercial building systems. Experience managing multiple subcontractors and coordinating complex project schedules. Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and construction documents. Working knowledge of scheduling software and construction management platforms. OSHA 30 Certification required or ability to obtain. Strong understanding of quality control, safety compliance, and project sequencing. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
