In this vital role, you will support various aspects of construction operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality on-site. Your expertise will help facilitate smooth project execution by managing tools, materials, and safety protocols while collaborating with project managers and crews. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale infrastructure projects, utilizing your construction management skills and technical knowledge to drive success from start to finish. Responsibilities This is a field working position for underground utilities (water and sanitary sewer) Perform on the job layout, planning and excavation Supervise crew members on-site, ensuring adherence to safety regulations including OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations. Perform quality control checks on construction projects Read and interpret schematics and blueprints. Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets industry standards, project specifications, and safety requirements. Maintain accurate records of project progress and documentation Skills Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality control checks Strong understanding of construction regulations, safety protocols, and blueprint reading techniques. Proven ability to manage teams in a construction management role with excellent communication skills. Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans for accurate implementation. Demonstrated experience supervising construction sites with a focus on safety management and quality assurance. Ability to coordinate construction schedules effectively while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of federal safety regulations such as OSHA standards; experience supervising crew management in commercial or heavy civil projects.
