Construction Site Supervisor
JOB SUMMARY
Hog Slat, Inc. is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to supervise the new construction, retrofitting and remodeling of hog barns in the Southern Region As Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for sourcing qualified contractors and subcontractors for these projects. Additionally, you will be required to stay abreast of subcontractors' day to day activities and ensure that their work meets Hog Slat's expectations for quality and timeliness. You will work not only with our sales staff to coordinate the projects but also with our distribution team to ensure delivery schedules for construction materials are met and don't slow down construction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other functions may be assigned as business conditions change. source experienced and professional contractors and sub-contractors for hog barn construction personally monitor production of assigned jobs formulate a job schedule keep projects on or ahead of schedule monitor and maintain high quality of work troubleshoot installation/other problems as they arise ensure client satisfaction from the perspective of the actual work and job site periodically meet with the sales staff to review upcoming jobs and estimates
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED
The ideal candidate will have the following experience/educational background: 5+ years of successful site project management experience (preferably in hog equipment installation/barn construction) excellent knowledge of all phase of commercial construction experience in construction scheduling, field supervision, and quality control of construction projects ability to organize and inspire sub contractors to exceptional performance knowledge of the modern hog industry is preferred must have and maintain a satisfactory driving record for liability and insurance purposes Hog Slat Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin, age disability, veteran status or any other reason prohibited under Federal State or local laws.
