Non-Exempt Location:
2240 N. Broadway, Moore, Oklahoma 73160, Newcastle, Norman, and various locations (indoor and outdoor)Hours:
Monday-Friday 8am to 5pmGeneral Purpose:
To assist superintendent in construction activities.Supervision Received:
Works under the direct supervision of theConstruction Field Manager or Superintendent Supervision Exercised:
None Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Present recommendations to Builder and Superintendent Comprehend the process of residential construction and use common knowledge Responsible for the level of quality in product Walk every room of every house, every day Attend construction meetings Maintain landscaping, yards, and trees Perform minor touch ups and some activities on punch-list Help maintain clean streets and gutters Ability to deliver houses in the allowed times as set forth by contracts Keep signs upright and orderly Any other duties assignedMinimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED Six (6)+ months of similar work related experience Reliable transportation Valid driver's licenseKnowledge, Skills, and Ability:
Knowledge of erosion control guidelines Strong organizational and communication skills Willingness to be a member of a dedicated team Strong customer service skills Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in working with computers and other types of technologyWork Environment:
Exposure to outdoor work sites; dirt, dust, fumes, heat, cold, noise, odors, wetness, humidity, and darkness. Some bending, stooping, climbing, reaching, crawling, lifting, carrying, and walking. Subject to driving to various locations in varying weather conditions.Physical Demands:
Occasionally required to sit and use their fingers, to handle or feel. Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, and to stoop or kneel.
