Muskogee, OK Position Summary:
Telios Construction Management (TCM) is looking for an experienced and skilled MEP Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing commercial construction, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to oversee and coordinate onsite work. The MEP Superintendent will play a critical role in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of construction projects, including scheduling, coordination of resources, and monitoring progress to ensure timely completion Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure that work is executed according to project plans, specifications, and quality standards Conduct regular inspections of work in progress to identify and resolve any issues or deficiencies, and implement corrective measures as needed Monitor construction site activities to ensure adherence to safety standards and project specifications Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution Monitor project budgets, schedules, and progress, and provide regular reports to senior management and stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues Ensure that all project documentation, including permits, contracts, change orders, and progress reports, are accurate, complete, and up-to-date, and maintain proper record-keeping
Minimum Criteria:
High school diploma or GED equivalent; additional education or certifications in construction management or a related field preferred Must have a minimum of 5 years of work experience on MEP construction projects, with at least 2 years of direct work experience as a construction project superintendent or similar supervisory role Demonstrated experience and knowledge of construction processes, codes, and regulations, as well as construction materials, methods, and equipment Demonstrated work experience and a proficiency in construction management software and tools Stable work history is required
