This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, customer communication, and ensuring projects run efficiently and safely. The Construction Operations Manager will work closely with field crews, vendors, customers, and project stakeholders to support drilling operations from bidding through project completion. Primary Responsibilities Project Coordination & Operatio Track project production footage and communicate progress with customers. Assist with scheduling and proactively identify upcoming project needs. Issue and track change orders. Follow up on submitted bids and customer requests. Attend pre-bid meetings and jobsite walkthroughs. Support project planning and coordination efforts. Assist with project documentation and job analysis. Customer & Field Communication Communicate with general contractors, superintendents, engineers, inspectors, and customers. Provide customer support and project updates. Coordinate field service needs, including truck maintenance and fleet repairs. Help ensure projects remain on schedule and operational issues are resolved promptly. Inventory, Vendors & Equipment Manage yard inventory and tool organization. Order tools, supplies, and consumables as needed. Coordinate with vendors and assist in sourcing specialty subcontractors and suppliers. Assist with fleet and equipment tracking systems, including Fleetio. Administrative & Growth Responsibilities Learn and perform project takeoffs. Learn to review and understand subcontract agreements. Assist with purchase order systems and operational procedures. Support company growth initiatives, including customer outreach and business development. Assist with safety compliance, documentation, and reporting. Future Growth Opportunities Over time, this role may expand to include: Crew management Dispatching and scheduling Project management responsibilities Operations leadership Qualifications Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced construction environment. Intermediate computer and office software skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Construction project management experience preferred but not required. Valid driver's license and ability to visit job sites as needed. Ability to communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and field personnel. Self-motivated, proactive, and solution-oriented. Working knowledge of construction safety standards and regulations; OSHA training or equivalent is strongly preferred. Excellent leadership and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to work effectively both in the office and in the field. Schedule Typical hours are 7/8 AM to 4:30 PM depending on lunch schedule.
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
