$35.00 - $38.00 per hour
Per Diem:
$124 - $140 per day, paid 7 days per week
Per Diem Eligibility:
Employees whose permanent residence is more than 60 miles from the project site are eligible for the daily per diem allowance.

40-60 hours per week with consistent overtime opportunities Long-term data center construction projects Opportunity to work on some of the largest infrastructure projects in Texas Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Traveling Civil Foreman to oversee field operations on large-scale data center construction projects in and around Abilene, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in underground utilities, site development, earthwork, grading, excavation, and heavy civil construction . This role requires hands-on leadership, the ability to manage crews in fast-paced environments, and a commitment to safety, quality, and production goals. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily activities of civil construction crews. Lead underground utility installations including storm, sewer, water, and duct bank systems. Oversee earthwork operations including excavation, grading, compaction, and site preparation. Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications. Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors. Read and interpret plans, specifications, and utility drawings. Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce company safety standards. Monitor production goals and maintain project schedules. Communicate with project managers, superintendents, inspectors, and clients. Track daily reports, quantities, and workforce productivity. Qualifications 5+ years of civil construction experience with at least 2 years in a Foreman or Lead role. Experience on large commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or data center projects preferred.
Strong knowledge of:
Underground utilities Earthwork and grading Excavation and trenching Site development Heavy equipment operations Ability to read blueprints and civil construction plans. Strong leadership and communication skills. OSHA 30 preferred. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Must be willing to travel as required for project assignments. Preferred Experience Data center site development Mass grading projects Duct bank installation Concrete structures and utility vaults GPS machine control and layout coordination Working with large civil crews and multiple subcontractors Why Join Us?
