The work is demanding and the hours can be tough. You MUST have a wide range of construction knowledge and the ability to provide solutions to possible construction problems if and when they arise. If a situation is 'over your head' you must have the skill to know how to hold things together while you work to find a solution. In other words you must have excellent people skills and problem solving skills. This will be one of the most rewarding and challenging jobs of your career. Successful applicant must have over ten years new home and remodeling construction experience and have overseen the completion of over one hundred projects. A clean driving record is also required.
