Job Description

Job Title:
Construction Project Manager Job Description The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for managing and maintaining all project documentation, coordinating the delivery and logistics of equipment and materials, assembling detailed project estimates and budgets, and overseeing subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely and efficient project progress. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to effectively participate in project meetings and guide field personnel. Responsibilities Manage and maintain all project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, ASIs, supplemental design documentation, QA/QC reports, and submittals. Coordinate the delivery and logistics of equipment and materials to ensure timely and efficient project progress. Assemble detailed project estimates and budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost-effective solutions. Oversee and manage subcontractors and vendors, ensuring they meet project requirements and deadlines. Attend and actively participate in project meetings, effectively communicating with all levels of the project team and stakeholders. Write and track purchase orders and subcontracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications. Thoroughly understand project plans and specifications, providing guidance and answers to field personnel as needed. Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods and assist the project team with conflict resolution. Essential Skills Proficiency in construction, mechanical systems, and Microsoft Excel. Experience with change orders, commercial construction, and construction management. Strong understanding of mechanical construction and blueprint reading. Familiarity with construction contracts, project budgeting, and estimating software. Proficiency in project management tools such as Procore, Sage software, and Microsoft Office. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. 3+ years of project management experience for a mechanical contractor. Proficiency in Quotesoft is a plus. Work Environment The position is based in the office in Clackamas, where you will manage between one to three projects at a time, with project values ranging from $5-10 million. The company offers a family-like environment with most office staff having been with the company for over ten years. Additional perks include a gas card, one week of PTO in the first year, and access to Udemy after six months. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clackamas, OR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $130000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
