Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Landscape Construction Business Developer and Project Manager to lead the growth and execution of our landscape construction projects. In this pivotal role, you will drive new business opportunities, cultivate client relationships, and oversee the successful planning and delivery of complex landscape construction initiatives. Your expertise will ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards, all while fostering a collaborative team environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape our company's presence in the landscape construction industry through strategic development and exceptional project management. Responsibilities Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the landscape construction sector by developing strategic partnerships and expanding client networks. Lead proposal development, bid preparation, and contract negotiations to secure new projects. Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements, scope, and budget expectations, ensuring alignment from inception to completion. Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation utilizing construction management software such as Primavera P6 and HeavyBid. Manage project teams on-site and off-site, coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and internal staff to ensure seamless execution. Monitor project progress through detailed scheduling, blueprint reading, schematics analysis, and site inspections; adjust plans proactively to meet deadlines. Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, environmental regulations, and contractual obligations. Utilize industry-leading tools like ProCore, Bluebeam, Civil 3D, and construction estimating software to enhance project efficiency. Maintain rigorous documentation including contracts, change orders, daily reports, and project logs for transparency and accountability. Foster strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional communication, updates on project status, and addressing concerns promptly. Experience Proven experience in construction management or project management within the landscape or heavy civil construction industry. Demonstrated success in business development activities including proposal writing, bidding processes, and client relationship management. Extensive knowledge of construction site operations with hands-on experience in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and site safety protocols. Familiarity with industry-standard construction management software such as Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam Revu, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, and other relevant tools. Strong understanding of contracts administration including scope of work development and change order processes. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Effective communication skills for coordinating teams across various disciplines and engaging clients confidently.
