Job Title:
Healthcare Project Manager Job Description We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Project Manager to oversee construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role requires managing budgets, schedules, and cost controls while coordinating with subcontractors, consultants, and clients. Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, ICRA protocols, and life safety standards is crucial. The successful candidate will maintain strong client relationships and ensure effective project communication. Responsibilities Manage healthcare construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Oversee budgets, schedules, and cost controls. Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and clients. Supervise submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, and documentation using Procore, PlanGrid, and MS Project. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, ICRA protocols, and life safety standards. Maintain strong client relationships and ensure effective project communication. Essential Skills 5-10 years of experience with a general contractor or construction manager. Strong financial management and scheduling expertise. Proven leadership and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and construction document management. Knowledge of project estimation processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in healthcare construction is preferred. Knowledge of infection control planning and working in occupied facilities is a plus. Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture is strongly preferred. Experience with general contractors or construction managers is preferred. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Outstanding time management, organization, prioritization, attention to detail, and multi-tasking skills. Comprehensive understanding of trades, scopes, timelines, and scheduling/sequencing of work. Marketing experience is a plus. Experience with hotel and entertainment venues is preferred. Work Environment This role is primarily office-based. You will gain valuable experience working on commercial building construction projects from the design and bidding phases through purchasing. The construction industry is competitive, fast-paced, and can offer a rewarding career. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ardmore, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
