EVENING EDUCATION SUPERVISOR
Job Summary:
The Evening Education Supervisor oversees the effective operation of evening school programs. This role ensures instructional quality, student support, instructor performance, and policy compliance. The supervisor acts as the primary on-site administrative contact during evening hours and works closely with faculty, staff, and students to promote a professional, positive and productive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support evening instructional staff across various trade programs including but not limited to: monitor and enforce class start and end times, assist with instructor educational needs or issues, enforce Pennco Tech and PA Edu State policies. Ensure full instructor coverage for all evening education programs each night Monitor classroom activity to ensure adherence to curriculum, safety, and school standards. Conduct regular instructor check-ins, student check-ins, and class observations Provide academic support and attendance counseling to students as needed during evening hours. Handle and resolve student concerns or disciplinary issues. Make DOE aware of any student or instructor issues and how issues were resolved. Ensure compliance with institutional, state, and accreditation policies. Ensure instructors are keeping accurate attendance, grade records, and incident reports. Assure all classes follow class start and end procedures. Collaborate with day Education staff to ensure continuity and communication. Assist in scheduling instructors and coordinating room assignments for evening classes. Lead evening staff meetings and participate in training/professional development. Complete class orientations and class starts procedures. Consistently communicate with the Business Office, Financial Aid, Career Services, and Registrar to coordinate student support and guide students to the appropriate departments as needed. Train in additional educational administrative responsibilities as needed by the Director of Education or Campus Director Prepare and distribute end-of-evening recap emails summarizing key events, notable incidents, and any necessary follow-up actions.
Position Requirements:
Maintain professional relationships with students and staff by exercising appropriate boundaries and avoiding fraternization, favoritism, or overly familiar personal interactions Ability to work independently in the evening and manage multiple priorities. Supervisory or administrative experience strongly preferred. Strong communication/people skills Strong interpersonal, organizational, and conflict-resolution skills. Knowledge of trade program operations, student support strategies, and educational compliance a plus but not necessary
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to walk the campus several times an evening, observe classrooms/labs, and respond to emergencies. Occasional lifting of materials or supplies (up to 25 lbs). K Schedule and Location:
Day & Evening shift Current schedule is Tuesday and Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM, and Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 1:30 PM-10:00 PM.
