About Empower Construction Empower Construction is a leading utility and infrastructure contractor committed to delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality projects across Pennsylvania. We're growing fast and looking for a driven Construction Project Manager to lead our field operations and client engagements. Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage various construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, a deep understanding of construction processes, and the ability to coordinate multiple teams effectively. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Duties Manage utility construction projects from start to finish, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution. Serve as the primary contact for clients like PECO, attending weekly progress meetings and providing daily updates. Lead subcontractors and internal crews, ensuring compliance with safety standards and Empower's project methodology. Coordinate with vendors and inspect materials to ensure quality and resolve issues independently. Maintain digital and physical job packages, including inspection sheets, permits, and as-built documentation. Collaborate with finance and admin teams to support payroll, reporting, and accounts payable. Represent Empower in community relations and coordinate with local authorities to minimize project impact. Develop and maintain project schedules using effective project scheduling tools. Facilitate communication among stakeholders, including clients, team members, and vendors. Address any issues or delays promptly to keep projects on track. Requirements Proven experience in construction project management, preferably in utility or infrastructure sectors. Strong leadership and communication skills. Familiarity with utility construction. Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously. Proficiency in project management software and digital tracking tools. Proven experience in project management within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices. Experience with project scheduling techniques and tools. Familiarity with cost estimation is preferred. Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities.
