Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Asphalt Foreman to lead and oversee asphalt paving projects from start to finish. Responsibilities Lead and supervise asphalt paving crews, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project plans Coordinate construction schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software to meet deadlines Review blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate execution of paving operations Oversee safety protocols in accordance with OSHA and federal construction safety regulations, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections Manage project budgets, track costs, and ensure resource allocation aligns with project requirements Conduct quality control inspections to verify proper asphalt compaction, surface smoothness, and compliance with industry standards Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to interpret technical drawings and resolve on-site issues promptly Supervise crew management activities including training, performance evaluations, and maintaining a productive team environment Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Prolog, or Primavera for documentation, reporting, and communication Ensure all work complies with construction regulations related to heavy civil projects and commercial construction standards Skills Extensive experience in asphalt paving within heavy civil or commercial construction environments Strong knowledge of construction management practices including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control Proficiency with construction management software such as Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, Prolog, HeavyBid or similar tools Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications for asphalt projects Proven ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced construction setting with supervisory experience Deep understanding of OSHA standards and federal safety regulations specific to construction sites Ability to coordinate complex construction schedules and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Familiarity with pipeline installation processes related to asphalt paving projects is a plus Experience supervising crews on large-scale projects while maintaining safety standards and quality assurance Competence in using tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing when required on site Join us if you're ready to lead impactful asphalt projects with energy and precision.
