Your Opportunity + Impact The Program Manager will lead highway and bridge construction inspection projects, oversee inspection teams, and support successful delivery for transportation clients and agencies. This role is ideal for an experienced construction inspection professional who can manage multiple projects, communicate effectively with stakeholders, resolve field issues, and provide technical leadership to inspection staff. Key Responsibilities Lead inspection teams across multiple projects within an assigned region. Monitor team performance, project progress, and schedule adherence to support timely completion. Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, subcontractors, agency representatives, and other project stakeholders. Share project information, respond to inquiries, and support timely resolution of field issues. Apply technical references when inspecting structural, concrete, earthwork, building, and mechanical components. Serve as a client liaison by providing updates on inspections, subcontracting, progress, and delays. Identify and help resolve site issues that could affect project delivery. Provide technical guidance and subject matter expertise to inspection team members. Maintain a strong understanding of construction observation, documentation, reporting, and procedures. Support pursuit and proposal efforts for future work opportunities with clients and agencies.
Education and Experience Education:
Associate degree required.
Experience:
At least five (5) years of leadership experience and ten (10) years of highway and bridge construction inspection experience, including PennDOT and Pennsylvania Turnpike projects.
Certifications:
NICET, NECEPT, and PennDOT Concrete certifications are required or preferred depending on project needs. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field. Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is highly desirable. Experience using CDS NeXtGen or Kahua software. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
