Job Description
Overview Kimley-Horn is looking for a Civil Analyst - Development Services to join our Pearland, Texas (TX) office in 2026! This is not a remote position. Responsibilities Perform site development engineering and project management tasks across a variety of projects Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients' visions for the future built environment Projects will include a variety of land development site designs Support research, coordination, project management, cost estimating, permitting for land disturbance and preparation of bid packages as well as technical specifications Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn's and our client's practices, procedures, and standards Support plan production, project financials, and client interactions This position requires 10% domestic travel Remote work from home acceptable as projects permit within reasonable commuting distance of the Pearland, TX office Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited university in the field of Civil Engineering. Also requires education, training or experience in the following: "Engineer-In-Training" or "Engineering Intern" certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months); Experience working under a licensed professional engineer to assist in private development, public improvements and structural design projects; Preparing construction drawings and documents in CAD software including AutoCAD and Microstation; Using StormCAD, Hydroflow, ICPR and other industry accepted software and development of hydrology studies; and Preparing paperwork and deliverables for client submittals.
